Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, recently held a productive meeting with the Consortium Infrastructure Corporation (Infracorp) to discuss the Zobe Water Supply Scheme Phase 1B Water Project. The primary aim of this engagement was to secure funding for sustainable development initiatives in Katsina State, with a particular focus on the Zobe Water Scheme Phase 1B. This project has the potential to provide clean drinking water to more than 10 million water users.

The meeting attendees included Dr. Lazarus Angbazo, Managing Director of Infrastructure Corporation, as well as representatives from Climate Fund Managers and Sanlam. On the Katsina State Government side, notable participants included Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, the Chief of Staff at Katsina State Government House, the principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Salisu Mamman, and Alhaji Hamza Faskari, Commissioner of Water Resources, along with Engr. Tingling MD from Katsina State Water Board. This engagement signifies a significant step towards improving water supply and promoting sustainable development in the region.
